"Writing to Inspire"

Part Two -- Unprofessional bio. If you want to read the one that shows all my credits and how wonderful I am (nor not), go to http://www.lorilynroberts.com/about_lorilyn2.html.

I wanted to share some things about me to show my humanness -- and what makes me unique. Now, if my kids were to read this, they would say, "too much information, mom."

I will keep it short, just a few fun facts. Here goes.

I love chocoloate. Give me a Starbucks Vanilla Latte (only two scoops of vanilla, not the usual three), extra-hot, decaf, and I am good to go. The baristas even know what I want before I order. With my Kindle in my lap, I am even happier. Give me a beach to sit on, I am almost in heaven.

If you were the Nielson Ratings folks and were keeping track of how many hours of TV I watch per week, you would probably think I was a TV-a-holic. Actually, I don't even like TV. I just caption it! And how about twenty-five to thirty hours a week of sports--football, basketball, soccer, poker, wrestling, ESPN, baseball, hockey, tennis, golf--I probably know more about the sports world than ninety-nine percent of the guys. I like captioning sports. Everybody is excited, passionate, and in a good mood, except when they lose. If I could just figure out a way to use all of that superfluous knowledge; too bad it's not like the stock market, I could make a fortune.

My all-time hero is Corrie Ten Boom.

I was saved by reading the Gospel of Matthew in the Kings James Bible when I was twelve years old.

I believe we are headed for difficult times in the future--a stock market crash leading to massive inflation or deflation. What the devil intends for evil, God means for good. If we prepare spiritually, financially, and mentally, God will be able to use us as dynamic witnesses in sharing the Gospel during the difficult times ahead.

More tidbits to come.
